Hire one team for everything in your back office.
Most small businesses we onboard have been juggling four vendors — a bookkeeper, a tax preparer, a payroll service, and a part-time consultant — none of whom talk to each other. That gap is where money leaks out.
We do all of it. Bookkeeping, tax, payroll, CFO advisory, business formation. Same team, same chart of accounts, same person who picks up the phone. The result is fewer surprises and a tax bill that reflects what was actually planned for, not just what already happened.
The full back office, under one roof.
Most clients use four of these six together. Here is the menu.

Small business accounting isn't one-size-fits-all. A roofer's books look nothing like an eCommerce seller's. Pick your industry — we already know the chart of accounts, the deductions, and the software you use.
Onboarding in days, not months.
Most firms make you wait three months for clean books. We don't. After a 30-minute kickoff call, we pull your bank and credit-card feeds, reconcile the prior period, and you get a real P&L by week two.
- Week 1: Kickoff, software access, chart-of-accounts review.
- Week 2: Catch-up reconciliation. First clean P&L delivered.
- Week 3: Monthly cadence begins. Quarterly tax planning kicks in.

Tax-ready books
Books reconciled monthly mean April is paperwork, not panic. Tax planning is included, not extra.
Responsive by default
Questions get answered the same week, not next month. Quotes typically come back within one business day.
We meet you where your books already live.
We work in QuickBooks Online and Shopify — the two platforms we know inside and out, so your books are handled by someone who lives in them every day.
Common questions before you call.
How much does a small business accountant cost in Denver?
We bill hourly, so what you pay tracks the actual work — driven mostly by your transaction volume and the number of bank or credit card accounts you run. Bookkeeping clients typically spend between $250 and $1,200 per month. Tax preparation is quoted separately and typically runs $400 to $1,000 for most returns. You get an estimate up front before we start.
Do I need a CPA for my small business?
For most small businesses we work with, no. A CPA is required for audited financial statements, certain SEC filings, and bank covenants that require attestation. Day-to-day bookkeeping, tax preparation, payroll, and IRS correspondence don't require a CPA. If your situation needs a CPA-signed audit or formal attestation, we'll tell you up front and refer you to a CPA partner.
Do you work with QuickBooks Online?
Yes — QuickBooks Online is the platform we work in for nearly every client, and we also work in Shopify for eCommerce sellers. If your books are a mess, we clean them up before we start the monthly engagement.
What areas do you serve?
We work with small businesses across the Denver metro and Colorado Springs corridor — Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, Lone Tree, Parker, Centennial, Littleton, Aurora, Denver, and Colorado Springs. Most engagements are remote, with in-person meetings available on request.
How fast can you get my books caught up?
A typical 12-month catch-up for a small service business takes 2–4 weeks once we have bank and credit card statements. We give you an estimate up front so you know what to expect. If you're behind on filings, we'll tell you which year to prioritize.
Can you handle payroll?
Yes. We run payroll for clients with 1–50 employees, including direct deposit, payroll tax filings, year-end W-2s and 1099s. For new payroll setups we recommend a trusted local Denver-based payroll provider; if you already run payroll through another service, we'll work with what you have.
